As a small business health insurance agent with over 30 years of serving, individuals who have served honorably with the armed services, I support the Veteran Accountability Act. Our veterans have served selflessly for our freedom and they deserve access, quality and low cost medical care. These men and women should not feel forced to buy additional coverage due to access of care in the VA health system benefit program.
I supported acts, such as The Choice Act, signed into law on August 7, 2014. The Choice Act provided $17 billion to improve veterans’ access to healthcare at the Department of Veterans Affairs, including a provision to expand veterans access to care and treatment outside of the VA health system.
